Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements. You will facilitate discovery sessions, document functional specifications, and ensure that delivered solutions align with organizational objectives and user expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems, opportunities, and objectives
- Elicit, document, validate, and maintain business and functional requirements
- Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and Use Cases
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, surveys, and focus groups to gather requirements
- Develop process flow diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to illustrate solution designs
- Work closely with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and requirement clarity
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case creation and validation
- Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Support change management by communicating requirements and impacts to all stakeholders
- Maintain product backlogs and participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Master's degree (MBA or MIS) is a plus
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile (CSM, SAFe) are highly desirable
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Proven track record of successfully delivering software or process improvement projects
- Experience working in both Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall environments
- Demonstrated experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello)
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
- Experience with diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io)
- Familiarity with API documentation and basic understanding of system integrations
- Working knowledge of wireframing/prototyping tools (Balsamiq, Figma, Adobe XD)
- Understanding of database concepts, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consulting or client-facing roles
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., healthcare, finance, government)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Understanding of UX/UI principles
